Darling Homes super-sizes patio home offerings in Imperial Sugar LandDarling Homes is expanding its patio home offerings in Imperial Sugar Land by introducing three larger floor plans with more bedrooms. With prices starting at more than $600,000, the new plans consist of two four-bedroom designs and one that features five bedrooms. The homes also feature a study, formal dining, game room, mud room, optional media room and wet bar and three-car garages. The four-bedroom patio homes contain either 3,665 or 3,814 square feet and offer four full baths and either one or two half baths. The four bedroom plans have two bedrooms downstairs and two upstairs. The five bedroom plan consists of 3,971 square feet with five full baths and two half baths. The five bedroom plan features three bedrooms downstairs and two up. The master bedroom is on the first level on all of the plans. Darling Homes builds patio homes in the new community with open entertaining areas, game rooms, media rooms and outdoor living spaces. The smallest plans contain about 2,600 square feet. “Darling’s patio homes in Imperial have been so well received that the community has garnered interest from home buyers looking for more bedrooms and varying use of space,” Amy Rino, division president of Darling Homes in Houston, said in an announcement. “Our in-house design team went to work and created some unique floor plans that can be used in the way the best suits the homebuyer.” Other builders in the Imperial Sugar Land community of patio homes and townhomes at Texas 6 and U.S. 90A consist of Trendmaker Homes, Partners in Building and Sitterle Homes. Meritage Homes recently purchased 127 acres in the Imperial Sugar Land development where it plans to market homes beginning in 2015.
