Skeeters Partner with ACE Theatrical Group for Stadium Concerts
ACE Theatrical Group to be Exclusive Promoter of Concerts at Constellation Field ACE Theatrical Group, a leading promoter of musical concerts, has entered into a multi-year agreement with the Sugar Land Skeeters minor league baseball team to be the exclusive presenter of concerts at the team’s new home, Constellation Field, a multi-purpose, $36 million ballpark in Sugar Land, TX. The agreement began in March of this year. An announcement of the first concert to be promoted by ACE is expected soon. ACE has served as the promoter of shows involving some of the most popular and talented artists in the world such as Chicago, Earth Wind & Fire, The Moody Blues, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Dylan, Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Doobie Brothers, Peter Frampton, Willie Nelson among many others. Based in Houston, Texas, ACE Theatrical Group, LLC is a theatrical management, development and promotions company formed by entertainment industry veterans, specializing in the development and operation of first class, live performance venues and concert events throughout North America. ACE’s principals have over 175 years combined experience and collectively have development, management and promotion credits in 35 venues in the United States and Canada. “Constellation Field is a tremendous venue in which to attract major concerts that will energize the Sugar Land community and the entire region. Skeeters skybox holders will receive tickets as part of their membership program and season ticket holders will have priority purchasing opportunities. The Skeeters have been playing in front of sold out crowds at Constellation Field, owned by the City of Sugar Land, since it opened on April 26, 2012. The venue is designed to accommodate concerts featuring artists of international appeal who draw 5,000 to 15,000 patrons. Constellation Field is located in Sugar Land, TX at the intersection of State Highway 6 and U.S. Highway 90A. About the Sugar Land Skeeters: The Sugar Land Skeeters minor league baseball team, led by Manager and former Major League All-Star Gary Gaetti, play in the $37 million Constellation Field, located at the intersection of State Highway 6 and U.S. Highway 90A. The Sugar Land Skeeters play 140 regular season games (70 home, 70 away) during the 2012 Season presented by ABC Home & Commercial Services. Constellation Field will also play host to a multitude of other events, including football, soccer, lacrosse, cheerleading and band competitions, as well as concerts, group outings and scout sleepovers. Fixed-seat stadium capacity is approximately 6,000 for baseball, plus additional lawn and standing-room-only areas. Constellation Field has a capacity of 10,000-plus in concert configuration.
